Summary
Song So Mi is a succubus.
Technically speaking, she is a remarkably bad one.
She hates seducing people, and she hates feeding on other people's desire. Whenever she burns herself out from overclocking, she'd rather eat, sleep, and suffer through the recovery than deal with the problem the way a succubus is supposed to.
Until one job puts her and Arasaka's V inside the same building, on the same night, against the same third party.
Songbird overclocks herself half to death.
V lets her go.
In return—or simply because Songbird is too exhausted to care anymore—she kisses her.
And discovers something strange.
V is different.
She can take far more feeding than anyone should.
And her life force feels unlike anything Songbird has ever tasted: effortless to absorb, frighteningly quick to restore her, enough that a single feeding shows Songbird what being truly full feels like for the first time in her life.
So she starts paying attention to V.
Then she starts finding reasons to go back.
And eventually, Songbird can no longer tell—
whether she keeps coming back because she's hungry,
or because she wanted to see V in the first place. -

Summary
[Phantom Liberty DLC · IF / Alternate Ending]
Dogtown's nights always smell like rust and rain.
V's only goal was to pull President Myers out of Kurt Hansen's grip. She never expected Johnny Silverhand—the loudmouth rockerboy squatting in her head—to get kicked out... only to be replaced by a soft-spoken, terrifyingly calm netrunner: Songbird. Song So Mi.
Songbird clears the path. V takes the bullets.
From forced brain-roommates to reluctantly sharing a narrow bed.
From wariness and distance to the quiet, terrifying realization on a rain-lashed night that the other woman's breathing feels safer than any neural matrix ever could.
Songbird carries secrets too heavy to speak aloud. V doesn't trust anyone to have her back.
Yet when the Blackwall whispers again and the Relic's countdown ticks louder, they have to choose: keep using each other... or bet everything on the person who once lied to them.
"I'm not letting you carry this alone anymore."
"Try shaking me off? Maybe next lifetime." -

Summary
So Mi likes her peaceful, orderly, and flawless life. Bathed in bright sunlight and absolute routine, she is in control of everything as a senior cybersecurity consultant. Until a stranger with striking red hair and eyes heavy with exhaustion crashes into her perfectly curated world.
The woman, who calls herself "V", brings an impossible technical problem: a stubborn, independent consciousness node living inside her head. Driven by an inexplicable intuition, So Mi accepts the case. However, as their neural links deepen, fragments of a world that shouldn't exist begin to bleed into her mind: oppressive acid rain, the back of a dilapidated truck, lethal quickhacks, and a recording filled with desperate gratitude...
"Before you were here, you were one of the best netrunners in the entire world. Your name is Song So Mi, and your alias is Songbird."
"What kind of person is she?"
"Brilliant. Lonely. Deserving of a better ending." -

Summary
After returning from the Moon, So Mi follows a message through Night City: a ramen stall under a holographic cherry tree, the neon alleys of Jig-Jig Street, the glass and height of Dark Matter, and the places where V once left pieces of herself behind.
Some people leave traces everywhere. Some goodbyes wait until the very end. -
