Jim just moved to Arcadia.

You see, Jim didn’t exactly had a ‘choice’ when the Court told him to pack his bag and go inside the car.There ain’t a choice when your father, with who you’ve lived ten years, passed away and now you seem ‘forced’ to live with a mother you haven’t seen your those ten years.
But now he does.The only problem? None told him Arcadia was so weird, and that inanimate objects talked.

Or, James and Barbara divorced and James took the custody. Ten years later James dies and Jim has to go live with his mom. How different will he be of our normal Jim? How different will he be as a Trollhunter? Even more importantly! How fucked up and twisted the original plot can converge?

After the events of 'Son of Gunmar', the honorary Trollhunters are left with the consequences of Jim's decision to head into the Darklands. With an unexpected traitor in their mist, keeping Gunmar's escape and Jim's new state under wraps, Blinky's decidedly not-actually-dead brother, and trying to figure out how to return Jim to normal, it is not looking like they'll see a light at the end of the tunnel. If they did, it'd probably be a train given their luck!
