    Dani hates losing. 

    There’s unfortunately no exact word to describe the feeling of losing, but Dani’s just kind of terribly, intimately familiar with the feeling of it; it’s almost like a gnawing feeling, one that starts with a trace of fatigue in exhausted limbs and seeps into the rest of her body, slowly, before getting stuck in her chest like hardened sap.
