Amazingly hilarious (dark) comedy fixit, great characterisation, crack treated seriously, trauma treated lightly, ww normalising his bucketloads of trauma and lack of self-worth and jingyi is Not Having It, jingyi learns some new things about history and the people around him, the perks and pitfalls of having an infamous genius traumatised ghost roommate (in denial about being) in love with your best friend’s dad in your head, great best friend sizhui, cool but stressed xichen, jingyi’s parents roll with it and basically adopt ww, scheming huaisang cameo but this fix is not about politics, jingyi Fixes Things by cutting through the bullshit - It’s just a never-ending parade of tragedy and missed opportunities, and Jingyi can’t handle it - communication is key!, jingyi thinks ww’s tragic backstory (and tragic love story) is sad and horrifying and unfair and says so (and it also gives him secondhand trauma), jingyi is a good friend, happy ending
