Summary
She scrutinizes him the same way she did all those years ago. Empty and implacable. But Eren sees something slightly scintillating in her pupils. An emotion she seems to want to repress.
A shiver runs down his spine.
He opens his mouth :
"I never thought I'd see you again."
"Me neither," she said, her voice still as calm as ever, suddenly wrapping her legs around his waist.
Eren jumps when she reverses roles, Mikasa now directly above him. Her cold breath hits his lips as she whispers :
“Did you miss me?”
Or :
Angel Mikasa disappears from the battlefield overnight to live a simple, peaceful life, and eventually start a family.
Demon Eren doesn't agree with this. At least... not without him.
