Summary
Harry James Potter was born on July 31st, 1980 to two young, loving parents. One born into the wizarding world, one born outside it. Most importantly, born to parents who opposed Voldemort a damning three times. Godric’s Hollow, October 31st, 1981, is where years of prejudice were destined to lay to rest. Most of the wizarding world knows the story from there, Lily and James Potter are killed and Harry survives, left with a lightning scar. And thats true for some time.
Perhaps it would have stayed true had Voldemort not tricked death, tricked fate, so many times. Perhaps it would have all laid to rest there leaving the next generation to be reborn from it. But Voldemort continued the story when he should not have. And with the balance tipped so far in his favor, the world sought to correct itself. And damn Harry Potter if he wasn’t a good seeker.
