Summary
When Theo falls under the care of Buck, Chris gets along with him so well that he asks Buck to babysit him every now and then.
That's how Fridays are created.
They fall into this routine quickly, with a few bumps along the way. While Buck tries his best to preserve the family he accidentally built, Eddie does everything in his power to show Buck there's one more thing in the equation that hasn't been addressed yet.
or: Buck is bad at reading signs and Eddie is even worse at expressing how he feels with actual words.

Summary
Buck is trying to choose between two jars of pesto - one red, one green when a throat clears next to him and he stills, a jar in each hand. With a quick turn of his head he finds exactly who he thought he would, unfortunately recognising them from the sound of their throat clear, which isn't a good thing.
“Tommy, hey.” Buck says in greeting as he returns both jars of pesto back onto the shelf and turns to face his ex fully. “I didn’t see you there.”

Theo in Buck’s oversized turnout coat and helmet falling over his eyes. Check.
(…) A video of Theo running around in a Spiderman costume in Buck’s backyard while Christopher showers him with a hose. Check.

Buck sniffled. Tears were building at the edges of his eyes. “I, uh, I messed up.” Buck said, nodding his head slightly as he let out a breathy chuckle. This is not who he is. Eddie had to know this was not him.
“Okay, okay.” Eddie chose his words carefully. “I can help you. Just, you gotta tell me exactly what’s going on.”
So, Buck told him.
