Wednesday Addams is dying.
The Addams family curse has hit Wednesday Addams, and of course, in a cruel sense of irony, it chose Enid Sinclair. The one person in the whole world that Wednesday can't have, kiss, or hold. Doomed to love Enid tragically from afar so as not to interfere with her slow-going relationship with Bruno. She just wants Enid to be happy, even if it isn't with her. Even if it kills her.
Enid used to always be so sure of what she had wanted or even who. She loved Bruno, and due to how quickly things had heated up between them in school, she wanted to slow things down, just to be sure they were right for each other. She was so certain that Bruno was meant to be her mate, until he got down on one knee at their tenth anniversary dinner and asked, "Enid Sinclair, will you marry me?"
And her whole-hearted response was, "No."

Enid," Wednesday said, in a tone so cold. "Meet my... personal temporal anomaly. Five years old, a worrying fixation on the concept of 'belonging,' and apparently, no notion of social decorum"
"What?" Enid blurted out, feeling her neurons short-circuit. "Say that again, but slower"
"The child is a relic from the past," Wednesday declared with glacial calm. "She is my former 'self.' My five-year-old version, to be exact"
Enid jumped to her feet, pointing at the little one with an incredulity that overflowed from her pores. "Are you kidding me?, Wends? Are you telling me we have a time traveler in our room? Is this some kind of Back to the Future thing?
On a night heavy, Wednesday returns to her room in Nevermore to find the most dangerous intruder of all: herself at five years old. Entangled in her own traps, the younger Addams arrives from the past to reclaim the darkness the teenager has tried to tame.Between icy recriminations and the imminent return of her past self, Wednesday must decide whether to continue hiding among the "outcasts" or embrace the Addams legacy/curse to protect the wild bond that keeps her alive.

(Following on from Season 2, and after Wednesday graduates.)
The eldest daughter of the eccentric Addams family, and recent alumnus of Nevermore Academy, would rather move into a morgue basement than adjust to a new roommate.
But Wednesday was confident that, given a few weeks, she could scare off any new roommate at university, and the administration would decide that it was best to leave her to her own devices.
Unbeknownst to Wednesday, Enid has already thought of that.

Wednesday starts university, convinced that she’s going to need to adjust to (or scare off) a new roommate.
Fortunately, that particular concern solves itself quickly.
Unfortunately, that’s just the beginning. Not only is there a vindictive stalker in the shadows… but Wednesday might also have to accept the help of others to survive.
