Summary
“I know what will help,” Drift said softly, reaching for her lyre, which was leaning on the bed nearby. She positioned her fingers over the strings, her thumbs rubbing hesitantly over ornately carved wood.
“Shall I play you a lullaby?” she asked softly, and Cleo smiled at the tender display.
“Please do,” she all but whispered, leaning down to rest her head on the much smaller champion’s shoulder.
Or: Cleo can't sleep without company, not after hundreds of years sleeping among her fellow satyrs. Luckily, Drift has just the solution.

Summary
Nikos has lost his final obol to Apo, and Cleo is there at his bedside when he wakes up.
The rational side of her knows not to hate Apo — that the gods are the real enemy. She was a politician, after all. She knows what this game really is. It's all politics. It's all dog-eat-dog. The powerful force the weak to fight amongst themselves so they don’t have to get their hands dirty.
But the heart does silly, irrational things. It makes you misplace the blame, and that’s exactly what they want.
