Summary
For not the first time in his life, Red Son wakes up on a cold, hard floor instead of on his bed. It’s a familiar feeling at this point, the demon prince works with technology enough to where he sometimes, though he hates to admit it, tends to neglect his health. It’s only sometimes, though, because he’s the paragon of health and never worries or disappoints his parents.
For the first time in his life, however, Red Son does not feel like the paragon of health. Even while sleeping in frankly very uncomfortable positions, he always feels well-rested and only slightly sore, nothing that a morning stretch can’t chase away. This is the first clue that something is very, very wrong.
