Summary
He ducked behind a tree trunk once he’d put some distance between himself and the group, pressing his back against the bark as he took deep steady breaths. He waited for the shouting to start, for his name to echo through the trees. But when that didn’t happen, he reached up for the first tree branch above his head.
He used to think that he was born to climb. Back when he was a kid and didn’t know much beyond the fence of Hell’s Gate, he spent every day climbing the trees at the edge of the boundary. He climbed until it became second nature, and he’d reach for footholds on instinct. Now, he shimmied up the young tree with ease, the wet moss a bit tricky to navigate but he managed it.
He crossed between treetops once he was high enough, watching as the recoms finally pulled their friend free. A murmur shot up between them, and their heads turned quickly.
They were looking for him.

Summary
Tim came to a halt when he saw Dick. The teen sat with his forehead rested against the door to the holding cell. He was collapsed against the glass, allowing it to hold him. His eyes were red and swollen. Tear-streaks stained his cheeks. His breathing was labored, and he shuddered in sporadic intervals.
It was clear that Dick had been sobbing, wailing, begging to be released from his prison. Tim knew the prison all too well; the only difference being that his was deep in the heart of Nanda Parbat, and Dick’s was beneath the surface of an industrial park in California.
It's been three months since Dick escaped Deathstroke. Tim knows what it's like to be thoroughly shattered. He does what he can to help Dick pick up the pieces.

“What is it you are called?” she asks. Ninat begins to pace around her, lifting her kuru and swirling her tail around her hand. There’s no difference between her body and theirs, he noticed it too.
“Neytiri,” the dreamwalker replies, and around them the clan members shuffle.
He cuts a glance to his brother, who only frowns.
“Why have you come to us?” Ninat asks next, her fingers pressing against the dreamwalker’s shoulder blades, feeling the material of what they call clothes.
“For help, at first,” the dreamwalker replies, truthfully. “I was separated from my squad, and I thought your friend could direct me towards our base. But he claims it’s too far to go by foot.”
“At first?” Ninat asks, finally stopping her inspection and sliding her knife back into its sheath.
The dreamwalker nods, “I wish to learn.”

Jake’s anger was palpable enough to burn a hole through steel, his jaw clenched so hard that his teeth creaked audibly. “Who would choose to leave a child on Pandora? Who would have a child in an obvious warzone? Who the fuck would endanger a kid like that?” he asks, all of them rhetorical because no one would be able to answer them anyway.
“And how the hell did Selfridge think it was a good idea to tell someone just as he was getting on an aircraft to leave?!” Jake asks again, getting more irate and angry, nearly tearing his hair out at this point. “That’s like saying ‘Oh peace out guys, but don’t forget there’s a literal child in there who could starve if left alone’. Like, the fuck?!”
He flops back against his chair, his breaths heaving out in barely controlled gusts that flutter the pages strewn about him. “Actually, Norm, don’t slap him. Punch the dumbass for me into next week. Maybe that’ll get it through his thick skull,” he mutters, utterly serious in his tone and his expression.
Or!All humans leave Pandora after the final battle leaving Spider behind. Oh, and he’s blessed by Eywa. That’s it. That’s the fic.

Summary
