The priest in charge of the choir practices, who is the same age as Satoru, dislikes his presence, especially his intense stare at his favorite and best soprano. However, no one dares to confront Satoru, for there's something subtly unsettling about him that keeps them at bay. Other priests may share similar concerns, but they too are cautious of intervening... Some of the more perceptive priests start to wonder about Satoru's actions toward Megumi... It's easy to accept on the surface—Megumi needs someone to look out for him in certain ways. But then they question why someone who watches the young soprano with such predatory intensity would help him purely out of altruism. A chill runs down their spines as they grapple with this dilemma.
