Especially not incessantly friendly Autobots who continuously try to convince him let go of his anger and instead embrace peace and freedom and love. How frivolous.

    Oh, and the Elite Trine has decided to court him. Wonderful.

    Rodimus has lived a long dramatic life. He dies quietly. He dies alone, failing processor thinking of the last grand adventure he ever got to go on. He dies thinking of Drift, and Ratchet, and Minimus Ambus. He dies thinking of Megatron and how no matter how futile his last attempt was he wishes that he could have saved him. How he wanted to go on one more adventure with him. How he wanted more time.

    Believer or not, Primus answers him. He's given a second life on a new and different Cybertron full of familiar faces including a gladiator named Megatronus. Without an official patron the gladiator can't expect to get far with his strength alone for much longer. With a new lease on life (and a fantastic inheritance left by his former self) how could Rodimus possibly say no to a friend in need?

    Starscream’s story was supposed to end the moment he crossed the border of Cybertron’s Kingdom.

    Exiled, stripped of his noble title and inheritance, and abandoned after tormenting Baron Elita-One—the beloved heroine who had won over his friends and even his fiancé, Prince Optimus Prime—Starscream had received the only ending in the fan-made Transformers otome game where the villain survived.

    Then his memories returned.

    He remembered the game. He remembered another life where Transformers had only been fiction. And he remembered the original Starscream’s life, jealousy, mistakes…and one very important event the game had never mentioned.

    The night before his exile, Starscream and Optimus had interfaced.

    Now, alone beyond the kingdom’s borders, Starscream discovers he is carrying Optimus’s sparkling.
