“Where do you think your hand is going?”
Law asked darkly, glaring down at the hooded man with disgust. He had a tight grip on the pickpocket’s wrist, clearly indicating he would not let him off the hook so easily.
The hooded man lifted his head and pulled down his mask with his other hand.
The shorter man’s wide grin and cocky expression stunned Law. The scar under the man’s eye added to his rugged, yet annoyingly attractive features. Law had never seen someone younger than him hold so much confidence.
“Was aiming for your wallet, but—” The smiling stranger shamelessly looked him up and down. “you’re pretty cute up close.”
Law instinctively let go of the man’s wrist. The sudden change in tone froze Law in place.
“Makes me want you even more.”
What the fuck.
Or Law gets pickpocketed.
