Mikey was experiencing a Horrible, Terrible, No Good, Very Bad disaster that might or might not be some kind of puberty and he could never, ever let anyone find out ever.
Because Mikey was growing hair.
He was turtle! He had always been a turtle! And turtles did not grow hair! Donnie would have told him all about it otherwise. And even if turtles did grow hair, his brothers never had, which meant Mikey definitely, 1000% shouldn’t either.
It was stupid to be so upset about it. To be… scared. But three weeks ago, when he’d been singing Shakira in the shower and swiped a hand over his head, he felt it. Tiny, barely there little things. Growing out of his skin. So thin and soft they were basically invisible, especially when dry, but still there. Definitely there, and definitely hair.

Summary
These past few days since his return to Earth have been giving Mikey some serious emotional whiplash, which was to be expected, he supposes; he hasn't exactly been feeling like himself for a while now.
On that note, there's been a more... recent development to his affliction in terms of physical state: unusual pain in different areas of the body (there's this stiffness in his neck that's really bugging him), and an awfully persistent neuralgia that just comes and goes.
A lot more has definitely happened during his time in Dimension X - too bad he can't remember some of it.

Basically, fuckass Kraang did Kraang things to Mikey and now he's super traumatized and suffers in a multitude of ways.

Summary
The worst thing that can happen has happened, and the apocalypse can’t be undone. Mikey’s missing, Leo’s dead, and Donnie’s got a foot in the grave. His last request: to die in their childhood home, and Raphael is going to make it happen even if he has to fight the entirety of apocalypse New York to get him there.
Unbeknownst to Raph is that Donnie has another plan, one that will make sure he gets to stay by his brother's side for as long as he needs him. He just needs a few upgrades.
AKA: Donnie's journey to become Donbot and the greatest testament to saying fuck you to death in order to stay with your siblings.
