Unfortunately for Yuuji, Megumi had morals. Somewhat.
Meaning, he had made no move on his student, and had no plans to, either.
However, that did not mean he was above making it seem like he might, in the form of flirting. Especially not if it helped keep Yuuji complacent and eager to please while stuck in his confinement.
A few uncharacteristically sugary words here, some warm, light caresses there- maybe even throwing in a sultry look or two- and an impressionable, hormonal teenage boy with a crush became much easier to mollify.
Did he feel bad about manipulating him? Sure. Maybe. Not really. Ultimately what was more important was keeping Yuuji alive and safe. If his feelings got a bit bruised in the process, it would be worth it. He knew it would be.

Jacob starts recalling the events of the night, making an effort to wink at Wright during his testimony, but Miles doesn’t hear a word of it. All he sees is red.
