An almost completely unfamiliar transmutation circle fills the room. It’s only as he’s being dragged through his gate that she sees it: twelve elements arranged in a circle, three lines of varying lengths drawn from the center to the top. The second hand ticks backward.
“Good luck, Alchemist!”
He’s sent spinning back into everything.
