Five years is a long time to go without having your underwear fed to you in a sandwich. Now, Harold runs a comic shop and Duncan fixes bikes because he can't get a 'real' job. And when their worlds collide again in the little shop, they'll have to figure out if they’re still enemies, or if there’s a real reason Duncan decided to visit the comic shop.. since he doesn't read comics.

Summary
Even though Ranpo knew—rationally—that liking someone wasn’t supposed to be about looks, that there was more to attraction than appearance… well, that didn’t mean her feelings got the memo. And ever since that day in class, when the P.E. teacher asked them all to step onto the scale one by one, she hadn’t quite been able to shake the weight of it—pun intended, maybe.
A whisper, quiet but sharp enough to slice through her confidence: “Oh, of course. She looks really fat. Ew.” Followed by snickers. Muffled, but not enough. Never enough.
Was she really that fat?
Was she… ugly?Or femranpoe high school (then college-ish and then living together) AU where Ranpo is going through a LOT of insecurities and discovering she's asexual, but she likes Poe, and... well, things are kind of difficult.
