Summary
The world of humans and the world of yokai sit side by side, but often do not touch. One is almost always unaware of the other. It's for the safety of both, really. They're dangers to each other. Sometimes the mingle though. Sometimes they touch and brush and leave traces against one another, and those traces become finger prints. Unique and permanent to the skin. They push and they pull and while they're kept separate for a reason, sometimes they might find that it's meant for them to sit with their arms twined, ever and always side by side.
Natsume used to hate these eyes, but now he's starting to think maybe he's proof to this testament.
