It's the first and still the best story about the Lynxley family!
Seriously, Cattrick and Kitty's characterisation is so well thought through and amazing that it's awesome.
The whole story is extraordinarily well written, compelling and intriguing. It's one of the best and most authentic family dramas I have ever read, and the romantic subplot involving Pawbert fits neatly in without feeling forced or unnecessary — the family drama still takes centre stage, as it always should with the Lynxleys.
I would highly recommend this story to any Pawbert fan, as well as fans of Cattrick, Kitty, or the Lynxley family in general. However, be aware that it takes place in an alternate universe, and the events of the second film are not taken into account or play any part.
