Summary
A younger dragon! Zuko who becomes extremely possessive of his crew and hoards them and tries to protect them. Zuko’s crew (a crew full of dragon bloods) comes to realize Zuko cares and is hoarding them and eventually hoard him back. Let Zuko have his crew survive the invasion of the North.

AU where Zuko realises early into his banishment that Ozai is an abusive bastard who sent him on a wild goose chase. Iroh turns their decommissioned warship into a floating tea shop, and Zuko settles down as a tea server onboard the Jasmine Dragon.
And then, years later, the Avatar emerges from the iceberg.
And then Aang decides that he wants Zuko, the first good firebender he’s met this century, to be his firebending teacher - even though Zuko wants nothing to do with him.

Summary
Zuko thinks the Avatar's collection of misfits is behaving weirdly. They're constantly acting like they know something he doesn't, like they know him when they definitely shouldn't, and they're constantly trying to get him to join them! Which he would never do!
(For some reason, Sokka, Katara, and Aang have memories of growing old, and all the steps it took to get there, but have no idea what triggered it other than breaking Aang out of the iceberg. Naturally, they want things to be better, but teenage Zuko, still in his angry yelling phase? Adorable. They can work with this.)
