The waves called to her and with the East Blue now occupied by marines who Garp was highly against, she has no choice to flee to the Grand Line. Then the feeling came back, at first was with Luffy who was out in the sea, falling to his demise until she saved him. Next, it was with Sabo who was almost killed and drowned in the ocean, then it's Ace-
His brilliance against a shadow of a cruel man. It wasn't long until Ace was thrown into the palm of her monstrous hand, sending the enemy away and sinking the island with it. It really wasn't her intention nor her adventure to go into hiding, especially an unplanned mission with Ace and two others who are friends with Makino.
In the end, she had to admit, the sea didn't feel as lonely anymore.

Law didn't believe in prayers nor did he believe in anything much above or below. He believed in how cruel humanity can be, he believed in a hell, it was obvious as above the sewer system, the remaining screams and gunshots or pleading were kindly muffled by the layers of earth that filtered it. Lammy, his dear sister, believed in fairytales and prayer. It made her happy and foolishly hopeful. However, it doesn't stop the illness from spreading, from refraining to have her cough up blood, prayer didn't fill their bellies when they were hungry or it doesn't stop the marines from killing survivors.
Lammy asked if Law would pray to the god above. Normally, he would scoff and shake his head from hearing nonsense. But, it made her happy, the twinkle in her tired eyes as she awaited her brother's reply. Who was he to stop what made his sister smile another day? Perhaps he is falling to delusion, a grasp to keep himself grounded. One night, he prayed.
He prayed to be free.
