He grabbed a spoon, scooped up some of the stew and held it out to Will expectantly, one hand cupped underneath to catch any drops. Without thinking, Will leaned forward, breaching the distance between them, and let himself be fed.
“Good?”
Will lifted his head. A tired smile spread across Strohl’s face, and just its mere existence made the cold much easier to bear.
“Good.”

“I got you,” Strohl murmured. “Just trust me.” At that, Will rested the whole of his weight on him, sinking into the water and Strohl’s firm hold, skin tinged with pink.
Of course, he trusted him, trusted him with his life and soul and body, no questions asked. And honestly, he knew Strohl was stronger than one would think - all lean muscles and firm flesh - but being handled like he weighed nothing still made him feel flustered and as warm as the water.
He let his body float, enjoying its lightness.
