Summary
They had a problem in the castle. Specifically Cross had a problem and Nighymare had to be aware of it. The younger monster seemed to have been having regular nightmares that kept him up and made him misrable during the day. Nightmare had caught him multiple times in the kitchen or lounge due to his own odd (nonexistent) sleeping hours.
He surely knew Nightmare knew, but never seemed interested in acknowledging it. On the few occasions their paths would merge, Cross would mumble an apology about being up so late and scurry away. It hadn't started to affect his performance in the field *yet* but it was only a matter of time. So tonight, Nightmare decided, he would approach Cross instead of observing him from the shadows.

Summary
The door swung open and shut with a 'Bang!!', and in came Cross, their newest addition to the team, leaning against the door and panting. "What is the matter, Cross?" Nightmare asked despite the headache he could feel forming.
If Cross was desperate enough to seek him out, the situtation must be truly dire.
"There's a cow. In the castle."
"...I beg yor pardon?"
