Someone is yelling nearby, their voice familiar and panicked. Seonghwa jolts as the person grabs his shoulder, hissing slightly as his arm is jostled.
“-hwa! Seonghwa, are you okay?”
Hongjoong sounds frantic, and he certainly looks the part when Seonghwa turns his head to meet his mate’s gaze. His hair is a dark grey from the rain, the strands hanging into his good eye and making it hard to see. He lost his eyepatch at some point, exposing the full length of the scar that cuts across his face.
“Are you okay?” he repeats when Seonghwa doesn’t answer, lowering himself to kneel on the deck.
“Joong,” Seonghwa murmurs, barely audible over the rain and fighting raging around them. “I’m pregnant.”

Summary
“My name is Seonghwa, please let me help you.”
All at once the lights returned, blasting with fire and rage and blood-curdling strength as Seonghwa’s hands flew over his eyes to stop himself from being blinded. The world exploded into colour despite that, and Seonghwa felt heat cradling his body as if sheltering him from the world beyond.
It was safe, and warm, and Seonghwa let his arms fall.
“Seonghwa… Park Seonghwa… The outlaw.”
“That’s- That’s me.”
“I’ve waited a long, long time for you.”
Seonghwa could hear the smirk in the entity's voice, a hand cradling his chin as light gave way to dawn, wings and shimmering opal fabric that caught in the air and moved gently across the nonchalant wind.
“Maybe you will get to save me after all? Let’s get to work.”
