Sam is surprised enough when he and Cas make it through the door. But Dean shows up five minutes late, and the restaurant's security protocols surely make it impossible for him to join them. The secret password is "fiancé". And somehow Dean knows without being told.

Castiel frowns at Sam, his irritation making way for utter confusion. "I—no? Why would you think that?"
Sam makes a face, like he's unsure how much he should reveal, but then he plows on. "Dean always rewatches that show for comfort when he's upset. Like, sad. Specifically like…" He gestures vaguely at Castiel, then reluctantly elaborates when Castiel's facial expression must make clear that he doesn't understand what Sam is talking about. "Like, when you leave him."
