Siffrin & co suck SO bad at communicating with each other its not even funny 😭 they mean so so well but they are not executing it very well and thats a bit of a problem with such a touchy subject. Poor Bonnie is stuck in the middle of wanted so badly to help but getting pushed away because this is seriously not something a child should be dealing with. I really empathize with them on that :(( Bonnie my beloved,, please you're doing amazing
i'm going to quote a couple of lines here from chapter 3 bc i need to remember them so they can be put on my grave as my cause of death

normally i'm not one to bookmark finished fics but god this one is a fic i need to come back to.
tbh i really really wish i could write out one big massive paragraph detailing everything i loved about this fic in general; unfortunately, it is currently 4:23AM and i do not have nearly enough spoons for that so we'll have to wait. cried like a little bitch though lmao

1/7!!! THIS IS A MULTI CHAPTER FIC!! WE WIN!!!!!
anyway the writing for this is actually so good?? I'm so incredibly weak for any White Day set fics but this one blew me out of the water. Rui seeming to genuinely want to tell Tsukasa about his past, but can't. And i'll bet you my top dollar that either its because his hands are figuratively tied and can't. Either from a curse or some other means. I also want to make a prediction that Rui isn't 100% totally human, but thats more or less for my own fun.
Guhhh the domestic moments in this are so sweet so far <33 I love how its going! I'm so hyped to see how the other chapters play out

Lord Garmadon is surprised to get a letter from his 8 year old son. He always wanted to have a life with his family, this may be his best chance at that.
Lloyd sent the letter but hadn't expected a reply. Maybe school will still suck, but it will be a bit better when he has someone out there that he knows cares for him.Both Garmadons are extremely lonely, together they willl build their relationship up through ink and paper. They are all each other have. If the universe wont let them have a family, they will hang onto this chance like a lifeline.

Lloyd,, ohhh my god Lloyd my son. MY LITTLE BOY.... I love it when author's write kid Lloyd as an actual kid with the trauma he 100% has. He's absolutely a little shit but thats what makes this even better <33 The letters between Garmadon and Lloyd were such sweet things to read it easily could've given me a cavity. The writing for the fic itself is gorgeous and i couldn't ask for anything more. I hope to see it update soon!!

this fic only has 2 chapters and already the story is absolutely immaculate, scrumdiddlyumptious, even.
the thing that drives me nuts is how much little details there is in how all the characters interact with each other, the subtle nods to the past of all of them share with each other and how detailed it is for, again, only having 2 chapters. But the tense nature with how Grian and Scar interact with each other makes me want to die.
THESE TWO MFS HAVE BEEN AT EACH OTHERS THROATS FOR AGES NOW AND ITS ONLY NOW SCAR KNOWS GRIANS VOICE AND WHAT HE LOOKS LIKE?? THEY DRIVE ME INSANE IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLEi adore this fic so much so far and i hope only good things, 10/10
