To me reads more like having a supportive friend than having a sexual partner help through heat, although the sheer level of comfort & trust without a need for privacy combine with their affection for each other could be romantic. QPR then?Really enjoy the discussions and lack of judgement, while the story goes into Earth biases and Grace's own dislike of the process, Grace doesn't pass those on in his descriptions of the physical process.
I love how Rocky makes Grace feel safe and not alone during heat while never undermining Grace's boundaries on the Watsonian level and the story never undermining them on the Doyle level. At no point does it feel like it's saying the people who told Grace he just needed the right alpha to make the process enjoyable were right, even if having Rocky sing him through it did make go from the anticipated fairly miserable to kinda pleasant with physical pleasure.

Summary
Androids are designer toys for rich people. Castiel wouldn’t have one, except that his brother, Gabriel, builds them for a living. Gabriel designs him an Android as a gift and sends him to Castiel.
Dean, the android, is uncannily human and Castiel finds himself actually enjoying his time with Dean. That is, until Gabriel visits them and reveals that Dean is acting against his programming. Dean shouldn’t have thoughts or feelings. He shouldn’t have preferences or emotions.
Dean is broken and Gabriel wants to deactivate him for Castiel’s own safety.
