Summary
“If you must know,” Hawkeye adds, “it’s because I drowned when I was seven.”
Of all the answers Charles had been expecting – a familial curse, some dabbling in the occult, even a genuine act of God – that was not one he was prepared to hear. Something so simple, a childhood near-death experience… “Yes, well, I… I imagine nearly dying at such a young age-”

Summary
BJ finishes the sauce, lifting up the wooden spoon to Hawk's lips. Eagerly, Hawk leans in and tastes it.
"God, that's heavenly," he giggles, fingernails scratching softly over BJ's belly. "What is it?"
“Chicken a la King,” BJ grins, rather proud. “Biscuits are in the oven.”
He lets out an exaggerated gasp. “Well, aren't I spoiled?”
Hawkeye comes home from a rough shift. BJ tries his best to make it better.

Summary
When Father Mulcahy falls ill at the 4077th, he expects a simple recovery. What he gets is a transformation that strips away everything he thought he knew about himself. Unable to eat, hypersensitive to touch, and plagued by a hunger he doesn't understand, Francis finds himself utterly dependent on B.J. Hunnicutt for survival in ways neither of them could have imagined. As Francis's abilities grow—shapeshifting, empathic connection, an almost hypnotic allure—so does the moral complexity of their arrangement.

Summary
Charles gave BJ’s shoulder what he guessed might be intended as a reassuring squeeze, but it did the opposite-BJ was startled and alarmed. Why was Charles trying to reassure him? He instinctively leaned away from the hand while trying not to move his head, as Charles, Lieutenant Epps, and Father Mulcahy appeared to have a brief conversation. They all looked slightly troubled, especially Father Mulcahy, whose eyebrows were knit tightly together, a hand wrapped around his rosary. ... God, this was infuriating, BJ thought, wishing he could understand what they were saying.

Basically, what if it was BJ who lost his hearing in Goodbye, Farewell and Amen?

Summary
"I will admit, Bashir, your performance yesterday was noteworthy. Perhaps you're not entirely hopeless after all."
"High praise," Bashir said, wry but pleased, and Charles felt the scalpel twist in his chest.
He wanted to say more. Wanted to explain that "noteworthy" was a pale shadow of what he actually meant. That watching Bashir work was like witnessing genius made manifest, that his surgical technique was the kind of brilliance Charles had spent his entire career seeking and so rarely finding.
That he was, in point of fact, extraordinary.
