Where Chloe learns that although she doesn’t say the words, Beca loves her. You may see some cameos from some of my other fandoms, Glee, and my OTP Faberry and Rookie Blue with Golly (both amazing fandoms with some amazing works you should all check out even if you’ve never seen Rookie Blue (I haven’t seen Rookie Blue)). I own nothing, not the characters and definitely not the songs. This is the first fic I’ve written in a long time and it practically begged to be written. I needed to get it out of my head. I have a spotify playlist for this fic and I’ll post all of the songs. Now on we go!

An uber. 3 suitcases, 2 eyes full of what Zoey remembered to be shame and pity, and one extremely broken family.

“You never let me have my rom-com moments!” Zoey leaned her head back with a dramatic sigh.
“You almost burned down our apartment!” Rumi sent her a baffled glare as she marched towards their now-ashy kitchen.

The last thing Detective Ryu Rumi needed after a long day at work was to find Zoey—best friend since college and paramedic extrordinaire—frantically trying to quell the flaming mess that once was their tiny apartment's stove. What she needed even less was said friend proceeding to call her out for her horribly-timed crush on the responding Fire Lieutenant. Oh, and there’s an arsonist on the loose, too.

“It’s—” Rumi physically freezes. It looks like it takes her a moment to compute what Mira had said, then she finishes stiffly, “It’s what?”
Mira’s never been one to lie; and, lo and behold, hashtag polytrix was indeed pressed up as number one on the social media app they’re staring at. Zoey glances down at the related hashtags trending with it: #ITSREAL #POLYTRIXONTOP #RUMIONBOTTOM #HUNTR/XGIRLS #TOTHEGAYWORLD
Or, Mira, Rumi, and Zoey get caught in the middle of their fans' shipping war—but maybe one ship in particular has more substance than the others.
