  Summary

  It was a beautiful summer night in Iwatobi when Haru had been declared missing. We had traveled home to celebrate his birthday at the beach. It was meant to just be simple fun, a moment to relax after a recent low stakes competition. We had a barbecue and camped out like a bunch of kids on summer vacation. I stayed close to Haru for most of that day, he seemed so happy, his smile and his precious laugh drawing me in over and over again. It was such a rare sight, maybe I should have been worried?
