Shane tore his eyes from Rozanov as he handed the bottle back. This time he was prepared for the touch of their hands. What he wasn’t prepared for was Rozanov’s other hand reaching out and grasping his as soon as he’d relinquished the water bottle.
The guy hauled both of them to their feet and suddenly Shane was way deeper in Rozanov’s personal space than he had any intention of ever being. Kind of. Never mind.
Shane’s brain short-circuited.

It’s the story we all know and love. It begins in Saskatchewan but every step after shifts the story slightly, a slow canon divergence to explore a different universe where two generational hockey players find each other by a different path.
Mostly inspired by show canon though I have read both Heated Rivalry and The Long Game (and Role Model) so I may borrow some things from there.

Summary
As a witch, Abigail Griffin's life has not exactly been a bed of roses. Just when she thinks she has managed to create a quiet life for herself and her family, she is dragged back to Fort Weather - a place she swore never to return to - following the murder of Duchess Callie.
She's given one simple task: Get the murderer - a man found drunk but unconscious in a pool of blood and with the murder weapon in his hand - to confess. Abby is surprised to find that the accused is more than happy to confess, though seemingly determined to do so in the most infuriating way possible, but what does she do when her powers tell her that the man before her is not guilty of the crimes he seems convinced he has committed? What can she do when the head of the church is deadset on condemning this man to death?
She soon finds herself trapped between a power-hungry Priest and a man who has accepted the guilt of a crime he didn't commit. If she looks hard enough, she might just find the truth about the Duchess' murder.

Summary
On the eve of war with Mount Weather, one grounder clan appears to seek a lasting peace and trade agreement with the Sky People. Chancellor Abby Griffin is reluctant to trust their leader, Marcus, knowing how quickly enemies form from the ashes of alliances...though the benefits of his proposal outweigh the costs.
She eventually finds herself drawn not only to the possibility of peace, but to Marcus himself. But there are some - on both sides - who would sooner see both leaders dead than their groups unified.
