He opens his mouth - maybe to drop an apology, or say something snarky or flirty enough to get his ass kicked by the others, but then Draken’s brain finally comprehends exactly what he’s looking at.
The strongest men of Tokyo Manji stare in complete shock at the sight of her.
“Uh…” Draken doesn’t get lost for words. Takemichi has that effect on him.
It’s not just the fact that the girl, who shoved her way into the space between their ribs that they call a heart, is now the leader of a rival gang that declared war on them.
It’s not even the fact that she clearly attacked Kisaki, her childhood friend, with the intention of snapping his arm.
It’s what she’s wearing that throws them off guard enough to gape.
“What the hell are you wearing?” Draken frowns in disbelief. The flagpole on his shoulder slips off when he slumps. Their prized flag that marks who they are thumps softly on the ground.

Summary
Hanagaki wasn't a name many knew about, despite it being a family name pretty prominent in history. But, to those who knew, it was a name both respected, loved, and feared.
Respected for the previous descendants who had partially formed what Japan was today. Loved for anyone with the name were selfless and devoted to helping anyone who needs it. Feared for the curse that brings every Hanagaki to their knees with madness if they don't have an anchor to reality.
Hanagaki Takemichi was a child prone to violence and anger as she grew. Before it could become something permanent in her psyche, Takemichi's grandmother had her join iaidō as a way to ease the curse inherently born in every Hanagaki.
It worked wonderfully and would continue to if Takemichi lived life as a below average girl, even if she feels it still. She has good friends, a wonderful girlfriend, and an outlet.
Unfortunately, she's thrust into a world of delinquents, all because she got sick and tired of her friends being beaten up every day. Her stupid cousin is going to get someone killed one day with his lies. Oh well. She'll make the best of her situation, even if it means the curse gets closer to the surface each time she fights.

Summary
After a long, tiring day of doing gang-related activities (mostly making sure that Chifuyu isn't overdoing it with their official gang outfit), Takemichi decided to go to D&D Motorcycle to bother Inui, but she ends up crashing on Inui's couch and falling asleep.
Finally getting a decent nap after days of hard work and planning, Takemichi wakes up to the sound of humming that sounds like heaven was calling to Takemichi as well as to good, mouth-watering food that Inui bought as soon as Takemichi wakes up from her very much needed beauty sleep.
