“You wouldn’t have taken advantage of me, Malfoy. If I hadn’t wanted it, you’d have known in a fraction of a second, and the emergency crew would be scraping your chopped‑off fingers off the lift floor right now,” she declared, only realizing at the very end that as she spoke, she had been leaning closer and closer to him, until only a few centimeters separated their faces.
Malfoy swallowed.
“And if you did want it?” he asked in a whisper, and Hermione felt a shiver run through her entire body.
“You tell me, Malfoy. What would happen if I did?” she asked, shocking even herself with her boldness.

Summary
Hermione Granger has been asked to mind the Hogsmeade Post Office/Owlery whilst Luna is on an expedition. Whilst the comforts of small town living appeal to her, she is forced to witness first hand the horrors of retail. Her only companionship is Luna’s pet eagle owl, Silver, who happens to be a fantastic listener, even if his favourite pastime is terrifying teens.
It all starts to go horribly wrong when Valentine's day becomes a nightmare and she realises that Silver can talk.
