Summary
Wifies quickly turns around. “..Who’s there?”
A non-humanoid looking creature stares back at him with wide eyes and a freakish grin. It’s floating in his room like it’s the most casual thing in the world.
In a panic, he falls out of his chair. His butt hitting the ground and he scrambles backwards to get away from the ..thing.
The monster laughs at his reaction. “That will never be old.”
“What do you want from me?”
The creature points at him. “You, Wifies Paragon, have my notebook.”
Wifies takes the book off his desk, waving it at the thing. “Oh, this?”
“Do you want it back?” Wifies adds.
“No. I dropped it in the human world intending for someone to pick it up. It belongs to you now.”

For nearly a year, Wemmbu has been patiently courting Flame—never rushing, never pushing. He buys his favorite flowers, knows his siblings well enough to get added to the family group chat, and somehow ends up becoming Flame's emergency contact before he's even his boyfriend.
And despite knowing exactly how he feels, Flame can't bring himself to say yes.
Not because he doesn't love him.
But because saying yes means everything becomes real.
Flame knows all of this and that's a problem.
The bigger problem is that Flame is hopelessly in love with him.
The even bigger problem is that every time he considers saying yes, Wemmbu does something ridiculous—like fly across the country because Flame had a bad day, remember a snack he mentioned six months ago, or casually offer someone a spare Tesla on Twitter.

For nearly a year—Wemmbu courted Flame with the kind of devotion people only write about in novels. You know. Normal things people do for someone who isn't technically their boyfriend.
Flame is handling this very normally.

Summary
What was Flux, a crazy girlfriend? “I had a dream you cheated on me,” more like “I had a dream where we lived in the desert and were in love, but then you killed yourself and I started resenting you for it, so when you were resurrected and we were all moved to a different place, I framed you for terrorism which set you on the run for multiple years before somewhat causing a war that ended with you killing me in a colosseum.” Besides being a grotesquely run-on sentence, it was also an insanely invalid reason to be upset.
