Summary

Chapter one is just an intro, it's basically just 1900 words of Jayce experiencing the horrors in the alternate timeline and having flashbacks.
Chapter two takes place during The Message Hidden Within the Pattern and Killing Is a Cycle (and part of The Dirt Under Your Nails) and is nothing but build up.
Chapters three & four are where the good shit is.

Summary
Dan has, over the years, cultivated a pretty strong stance on the matter of marriage. It's a social construct, it puts too many expectations on a relationship, it makes him feel trapped, it doesn't actually mean anything, and he does not need a flimsy paper to prove to somebody that he loves Phil. It's the epitome of everything he hates in society.
Oh, and this weird pile of feelings in the back of his brain that has been rapidly growing in size as of recent? Don't even worry about it.

Dan also didn’t believe in the traditional figure of marriage, for him that was merely a social construct rooted in conservative ideals that only bound people to fulfil predetermined roles… But, beyond everything, he loved Phil.
Or Dan wants to propose to Phil in a very Dan-and-Phil-esque way.
