When Astarion's vampirism was revealed the group he panicked. Sure Tav had been okay with it, after an initial confrontation about it. But there's no way everyone would just accept it, right? His survival depended on this group of strangers, and his tadpole agreed too. In an effort to make him more trustworthy his tadpole let the group see into his mind. Permanently. Now with no way to hide himself from the others how will he cope with being exposed like this? Not well, that's for sure. And the group has a lot to learn about their vampire companion.
