How many times had someone laid their hands on Robert and didn’t mean him harm?

Summary
Grace's webbed hands press against the glass, his curious chitters surprising the young man standing next to the viewport he was observing from. He’s newer on the team, Grace jogs his memory for his name again.
The young man holds his hand to his chest, breathing a sigh of relief, “Oh hey, Grace. Come to see your new neighbor?”
He nods, chirping his burning question, “Who is it?”
“Dunno,” Chris, right, that’s his name– “It’s another mer.”
(Or, Rocky and Adrian are helped by a merman named Grace, and in turn they save him. Now happily living in the Erid Marine Rehabilitation & Research Center, Grace is surprised when another injured merman named Simon is brought to recover in a neighboring tank. Perhaps, these two lost souls may finally have a home, together.)

I have no words to describe how much I love this oh my god. For one, I love the focus on Rocky, Adrian, and Grace in the first chapter. For two, Simon and Grace make me so happy oh my god.
I will never be able to get this fic out of my head.
