Summary
For once Zenitsu is the only one awake. Tanjiro and Inosuke lie comatose after their battle in the Entertainment district, and Zenitsu is alone, full of grief and regret. But things only get worse for Zenitsu when word reaches the Butterfly Mansion of people going missing in Osaka. A large group of demons are on the prowl, and the local demon slayers can't catch them.
Shinobu dispatches Kanao to hunt them down and chooses Zenitsu to be her guide, and to help her learn to communicate, if they have the time. But this is more than a mission for Zenitsu, and it's not the real demons he's scared of this time. He must reflect on how far he's come since joining the Demon Slayer Corps, and whether he's turning into the man he wants to be.
He's going to the one place he swore he'd never go. Zenitsu is going home.

Summary
He pets Kaigaku's head with a gentleness that didn't suit his size. Kaigaku found himself unable to move, a blush rising to his cheeks. Himejima's hand were warm. They felt protective in a way that made Kaigaku's stomach flip. “Perhaps I’m different from others but that doesn’t mean I can’t live my own life or find serenity in others. Taking care of all of you brings me joy.”
Those words echoed in his ears over and over. The gratitude he felt for someone weaker than him. How his face, his heart burnt bright, so bright at those specific words. The smile, the great fortune he’d held onto.
Or Kaigaku runs into Himejima instead of Zenitsu.

Summary
Most people thought that Tanjirou Komado was the only one to survive the attack, but he died that day all long with the rest of his siblings. An AU where Tanjirou was really a reborn Yoriichi Tsugikuni all along, but repressed his memories of his first life until demons attacked and forcibly reminded him who he was and what his purpose was.

Summary
As a matter of fact, Zenitsu didn't want that "gift" or whatever that was, because ghosts were loud and hurt his ears and he had enough problems as it was.
But we don't get to choose what we can and cannot see, and Zenitsu sees and hears a lot of things. Way too much, if you ask him.
