Summary
A Ghoap Slow-burn Romance fic, based in 1930's Great Depression America.

Soap is married, playing the role of dutiful housewife to his abusive husband, Howard.
Trapped in the relationship on the promise that his Mam and little sister would be taken care of, Soap does his best to survive the hand he was dealt.
When money gets tight, he decides to house paying boarders for extra income, inevitably attracting the attention of a wandering Handyman known only by "Ghost"
The boarders were only supposed to be temporary, a way to save enough money to flee from Howard.
But the longer Ghost stays, fixing more than just the odd repairs around the house, Soap finds himself falling for the ruggedly handsome man.
And his feelings aren't one-sided.
