Summary
After the battle of Hogwarts, Draco goes to college to learn how to become a Healer, and Ron goes to college to be a professional Quidditch Player.
Tensions quickly rise between them, leaving them both confused and at a loss for what to do. Draco Malfoy has crippling guilt, and Ron is dealing with all the mixed feelings he has regarding Draco now verses the Draco he knew in his past.
After a sloppy, spontaneous kiss in the hallway leaves them both more confused than they started, they both confide in their friends about the situation. They agree not to let it happen again, but of course they both cave, and end up acting on the newfound tension between them… no matter how random or strange it feels on both their ends.

Everyone knows that somewhere out there is someone that is perfect for you. Someone who will fit with you better than anyone else. A soulmate. Everyone knows this because all you have to do is follow your red string and it will take you to them. You just have to pay attention.
The string keeps popping in and out of existence through the years, always when Potter is around, sometimes when that Granger girl is but Draco refuses to accept that. It must be Potter.
Draco has been distracted, he has not been paying attention because if he had he would remember his string showed itself twice before Hogwarts and Potter had been living under some stairs then. Instead, there was a certain family of redheads nearby.
