Even stretched before her in all its glory, the sea feels less fantastical than the fact that Fiyero is with her, and human again, and somehow still in love.

Summary
Fiyero Tigelaar knows exactly how he's going to die.
His life is being lived all out of order, his family thinks him mad, and there is a green girl haunting his footsteps. It's enough to drive any young man to try for a brainless existence.
When he comes to Shiz, things are looking up. He's almost managed to forget about his fate, his family, and the girl called Fae.
Only then, Fae is in front of him, and her name is not Fae, but Elphaba.
Soon family comes haunting, and fate comes knocking.
Can anything save Fiyero from the terrible death he has so long foreseen?
This is primarily based on the movies, as I haven't seen the musical or read the books. Certain details have been taken from my knowledge of the books, however, to better fill out the characters & setting. Please also keep in mind that this work contains depictions of verbal, emotional & some physical abuse, as well as torture & death. Tags will be updated as I go.

Summary
Without thinking, she leans forward to rest her forehead against his chest. “I don’t know what to do.” That’s hard to admit, but she feels like that’s been the state of things since her parents died. Grieving had been difficult for her, growing up with Chris as her guardian had been hard for them both, college hadn’t been her first option but she’d done it to make things easier for Chris. She hasn’t felt in control for a long time, and now this.
Leon’s hands continue to thread through her hair long past the point when it’s become smooth and clean. He simply lets her exist like this for a moment, until she pulls back and wipes her eyes with the back of her wrist. She isn’t crying, but the threat of tears is there and she’s trying to keep them in check. Man, what a good cry wouldn’t do for her right now, though. “Sorry, I think the weight of it all is starting to hit me.”

After Raccoon City, Claire and Leon find relief in each other - and release in vulnerable and slightly awkward handjobs in a motel shower. Trust, care, and a craving for tenderness sees them willingly giving themselves to each other, at least for one night.

OR
Shiz isn't worried about pairing Fiyero with the green girl because they assume he won't want to fuck her.
