Summary
“Well?” Zanka nips to his ear, one of his thumbs underneath Jabber's chin, the other on the base of his throat. “Ya called me over, what did ya want?”
Jabber doesn't reply immediately. In fact, he only replies when Zanka pulls on his hair, bringing his eyes back into focus.
“You,” Jabber finally replies. He's so out of it, his pupils blown to hell, Zanka's practically holding him up. “For you to stop snoopin’ around instead of paying attention to me.”
Zanka tilts his head, considering him. Then he reaches back, grabbing the burnt joint and putting it out on the ashtray by the floor under Jabber's disappointed eyes. His skin smarts lightly as he maneuvers himself to grab another one one-handed, and a lighter, placing the new blunt on Jabber's mouth and then lighting it up for him. Jabber sucks the smoke in with no need for prompting, still staring.
Zanka smiles at him. Then he uses the hand still in the base of his throat to cut off his breath.

Summary
The bathroom is anything but silent with his music still playing and the water still going, but it’s like Zanka has gone deaf with how quiet his head is. There’s only one thing on his mind.
It should be him. It will be him. Zanka has worked too hard, gone too far, for Jabber to put another barrier between them. Zanka can accept that he’s smarter than him. Stronger than him. Better than him. But he won’t accept him acting like they’re not meant to be. Like they don’t need each other.
The water stops at the same time his speaker dies, leaving Zanka in an almost opaque silence as he dries off.
Zanka will have Jabber. Whether Jabber likes it or not.
Or; Zanka needs Jabber. Jabber needs Zanka, even if he's acting like he doesn't. That's okay. He'll learn.

Jabber decides to test out a new venom. Zanka comes along for the ride.

3700 years ago, Stanley and Xeno went on a trip to Japan.
The former had just come back from 8 months of deployment to find that, in the meantime, his husband had been driven far enough up a wall by the hellish chains of bureaucracy to hatch a dastardly plan that involved spreading a literal plague through the entire world's population.
Understandably, Stan saw the state his beloved was in, cared none for the actual damage that ploy would bring, and was instead much more offended by the crazed look in his partner's eyes, so he decided the best way to restore his childhood friend's mood to its usual science-loving splendor was to force his overworked ass on a vacation with him.
That was how Japan happened.
