Summary
Sometime after the near total collapse of the universe, Wukong and Macaque decided to work on their complicated relationship together. They’d been working together on and off since the Lady Bone Demon’s return, and after having their past thrown in both their faces repeatedly, it felt like it was time to actually address their gripes.
It took a while to get where they were. There was yelling, lots of it even, tears, somehow even more of those, and hugging each other so tightly it hurt, but eventually their relationship turned less bitter than sweet, if only slightly. They could complain about their old partnership without getting defensive and devolving into a shouting match. In a way it was therapeutic to vent their frustrations without fear of retaliation.
Somehow in finding this new found peace Wukong felt comfortable enough to ask about their past sex life together.

"Wait, you spend it alone?" Pigsy grunted, clearly unhappy. "That ain't healthy, Monkey King."
"Eh, I'm fine!" Wukong huffed, giggling to himself. "Immortal, remember? I've been through worse. I know my cycle well, too! Tomorrow I'll be in preheat, and after three weeks of that, I'll lock myself away and be done with it. No biggy."

Summary
She quickly positioned her arms upwards, movements desperate and fierce, the rune circle a pale, misty blue. Wukong spiraled towards her, fist drawn back. His speed was unmatched – he was fast, too fast to see the trap she'd laid.
He couldn’t see it, blind with rage, but someone else could.
There was no sound, only a blur of black, and suddenly Macaque was in front of the Lady Bone Demon’s incoming attack and Wukong wasn’t.
Or: Failing to possess Wukong, Lady Bone Demon takes the next best thing.
And what a (play) thing he is.
