Summary
A rewrite of ACD's 'the empty house'
Well, it appears that for the first and only time in my life, I really fainted. I came to in my armchair, with my collar open and the taste of brandy on my tongue and Holmes hovering over me like some long-legged seabird.
“Forgive me Watson,” he said, anxiously. “I had no idea the sight of me would affect you so heavily.” -

Summary
A slow burn that's on one level about Gay Lawyers, and on another about healing from pain and finding joy in a world that sucks. Each chapter springs up around various homes, furniture, and found family. As Phoenix and Maya attempt to pick up the pieces after Mia's death, Edgeworth and Franziska are likewise struggling to figure out themselves and their feelings in the wake of Von Karma. Mostly about letting people into your life and letting them change your way of life: how caring for others can ultimately help you care for yourself.
Title is taken from a poem of the same name by Jack Gilbert.Series

Summary
He inhales deeply, breathing in the scent of cheap cologne and toothpaste that probably spilled onto his dress shirt.
“What are you doing?”
Oh no. He’s been caught.
Before he can open his mouth, trying to make an excuse that sounds valid to his ears, another voice filters through the room.
“Was just going to get some water…”Bookmarked by WingsOfSteel

Summary
“You’re late,” Phoenix said, his voice low enough that it barely reached over the music.
Miles tilted his head, letting their feet fall into step without question, his eyes already half-lidded in the smoke. “You didn’t ask me to come.”
“Didn’t think I had to.”

Not that he's been keeping track or anything.
