The Vigilance series follows Eres through the many trials and tribulations of being Dragonborn--from her arrival in Skyrim, to becoming a Vigilant, discovering she's the fated Dragonborn, falling in love--and beyond.
A 9-part serial novelization of a modded playthrough of Skyrim, Vigilance does not follow the set timeline or standard of the original Skyrim games and makes a few minor lore adjustments for both readability and plot. You may consider this series an experiment in the vein of approaching a fanfic in the manner of bildungsroman - rather than a snapshot in time or focusing on only one particular "quest", Vigilance aims to tell a long-form story following Eres from an ordinary young half-elf just trying to find her way to becoming the prophesied Last Dragonborn of legend - and perhaps a bit more along the way.

In the centre of it all stands a blind woman—desperately trying to escape her life in Cyrodiil, and cursed by the gods with the weight of the world.

Summary
It is the year 42 of the Fourth Era. The city of Kvatch has been mostly rebuilt after the devastation of the Oblivion Crisis.
The city however, hasn't been the same. Its glorious arena, prosperous markets, clean streets and happy population have been replaced by a crime ridden city filled with slums and gang violence. The city is now ruled by a powerful crime family, the Valgus family.
Even the city's count, Regulus Mede, cousin to emperor Titus Mede, hasn't been able to get rid of the Valgus family and its powerful patriarch Tsinisus Valgus. Last he tried, he'd lost his right foot in an "accident".
Fed up with the swamp monster sitting at the center of the crime ridden swamp Kvatch has become, the emperor has sent in one of his best Penitus Oculatus agents to take down the Patriarch and his children. This agent will have to infiltrate the family's organisation and take them out from the inside.
An original story set in the TES universe written by me. I hope someone likes it.
Also WARNING: I wanted to make a crime story, so it contains some adult themes. Not graphic sex or something, but definitely unsavoury crime stuff (Man/Mer/Beast trafficking, Drug trafficking etc). So be warned.
