Summary
“Harry’s been behaving strangely.”
“Strangely?” Arthur asked, taking a sip of his tea. “How so?”
Sirius tapped a long finger against the table. He briefly wondered how to best phrase his concerns, but ultimately, the plainest question came out of him.
“Did you notice Harry has a habit of doing the dishes?”
--
With the Second Wizarding War over, Sirius is more than excited to put everything behind him and raise Harry as his own. However, he and Remus begin to notice odd and troubling behaviors from Harry. Without answers from the source, Sirius turns to Harry's previous guardians--Molly and Arthur Weasley--and learns Harry is still making adjustments from his time with the Dursley's.

“I’ll take Harry for a bit, so you two can eat in peace for a few minutes.”
Remus tightened his grip on Harry and said “oh no that’s quite alright. It’s not a bother at all.” Andromeda frowned. Even with a seven year old at home who was far too fond of making trouble, she had never heard a more spectacular lie.
“Mr. Lupin, you and Sirius haven’t eaten in days if the state of your cupboards is anything to go by. I’ll feed Harry while you two eat.”
“Really, it’s no problem. He’s been sleeping in my arms all day, I wouldn’t want to move him now,” Remus said. Perhaps this would be harder than she originally thought.

Summary
Remus reached the corded phone with just enough time to press the receiver to his ear while clapping his other hand over Sirius’ mouth. Remus felt rather than heard Sirius’ indignant squawk against his palm.
“Hello?... err, yes-no-um the other one... yes... yes... okay we’ll see you then.” Remus made sure the receiver was securely back in the cradle before releasing the hold on Sirius’ mouth.
“Is he okay? Is he sick? Hurt? Bored? Do we need to go get him?”
“Nothing of the sort Padfoot. His teacher just wants a word with us when we pick him up later.”
“Oh.”

Summary
It’s May 1979 and the Order has just apprehended a pair of mysterious wizards who look remarkably like a Potter and a Malfoy. Naturally, James Potter and Sirius Black are called in to identify the strangely familiar strangers and determine their backgrounds and loyalties.
(This would be a lot easier if their captives weren’t convinced everyone they talk to is dead. It would also be easier if they didn’t spend half their bloody time bickering.)
**
“Just ask them questions only they would know the answer to,” Malfoy suggests.
“There’s not a single thing that I know about either of them from the first war that any old Death Eater couldn’t find out.”
“How is that possible?” Malfoy huffs. “He’s your father!”
“Am I or am I not famously an orphan?” Potter snarls.
