Summary
At six and ten, prince Daeron married the future of house Targaryen, prince Valarr, ultimately binding their destiny upon a pristine gilded cage. This tale tries to narrate their lives until their fateful dismissal, for the ones who desire to listen to the birds flying behind such golden bars.

Daeron the drunken dreamer died. Mind you, very stupid death after Valarr's one.
So when he wakes up in past, mid drinking after misplacing Egg, he knows he has to stop the total downfall of his cursed family.

1. Make Aerion less of a spawn from hell... and get him laid.
2. Make Dunk less of a stupid knight.
3. Stop Valarr from coughing his life away.All because... he so doesn't want to marry Kiera, again. Too much of a woman for one drunken mess.

Summary
He tore his gaze from the old man, eyes welling up with tears at seeing such state his mother had, body limp and rigid under the bedsheets, brow glistening with so much moisture his hair was nothing but wet strands plastered across his forehead and cheeks. His cracked and pinkless lips left out heavy breaths his chest could not actually support, so painful to watch that he did not realize some tears already began to spill from his eyes.
“I do not recall a single time he was so peaceful,” Maekar said, “he used to be so fussy even as a newborn. Crying incessantly and none of us knew how to soothe him.”
Or the before and aftermath of Daeron's worst labor.

The thought itself engraves through his mind, not much different than his scars after a tournament, marring and tender at the touch. To love Daeron is such an uneasy thing. Summary
“I desire nothing more than to reunite with you at Ashford at once”, Valarr lamented.
Daeron smiled, giving one more kiss to those plump lips. “Time will pass fast, we will see each other when we least expect it.”
He returned the tilt of his mouth, rightfully complicit. And slightly jesting. Which only prompted a grumble down Daeron’s throat.
“I will arrive, lacking delays or problems,” he released his face, resting both forearms on the other’s shoulder, almost like an embrace, glancing at Valarr's face.
The younger smiled softly, symbolically embracing both his feelings and body alike.
“You must.”
“I will,” Daeron breathed, stealing one more kiss, “I promise”.
Or three times Valarr trusted Daeron's promises, and one time Daeron trusted Valarr. (3 + 1)
