The Empire and the Kingdom of Lucis have finally agreed on terms for a treaty.
Selected from Besithia's clones and re-purposed to become the Imperial heir, the newly-dubbed Royal Highness, Prompto af Besithia Aldercapt, Prince of Succarpe and Duke of Ghorovas, must quickly adjust to his new role because he's expected to befriend the Prince of Lucis. He's never made a friend before. But a "chance" meeting in a Citadel garden gives him a new opportunity to get some practice. He has a week to fill while he's waiting for the formalities—and maybe now he can make a new friend to fill that time with.

“Go on, Prom.” Noctis said, voice light and teasing. “Iggy is a busy guy, you can’t keep him here all day.”
“Shut up!” The blond hissed, whiny and unsure. Still, in an apparent show of bravery he shuffled forward. He dug into his bag before pulling out a little package, offering it to the advisor.
Ignis took it slowly, eyebrows scrunched in confusion. It was neither his birthday nor any sort of holiday that he could think of.
“I- uh… It’s stupid but,” Prompto took a shaky breath, eyes trained on the ground. “I found it at- you don’t care- anyways I just… I thought you’d like it, so…”
