“Anyways, that’s not my point.” She continued after she took her own drink. “My point is, I didn’t agree to your plan. You didn’t ask my permission before jumping off that cliff, but I followed you anyway because I trust you. And it all was fine in the end, because we worked together.” She hesitated briefly before she spoke again. “...I hope you can extend that same trust to me.”
It finally dawned on Braham that they were having that talk he had been so carefully avoiding. He supposed that it was better to get it out of the way now than continue to tiptoe around it the whole time they were stuck here together. “Oh.” He muttered quietly.

The Commander is stuck with Braham in Cragstead until a storm passes over, and she seems to have come down with something serious. When the Commander is forced to place her life in his hands, Braham is forced to reflect on his past, present and future to decide what kind of a person he wants to be.
*Authors Note: Takes place just after living world season 4, canon (mostly) compliant
